What are the benefits of shutters?

Do shutters come with a guarantee?
Yes. All our shutters come with a minimum 5-year guarantee across all ranges, 10 years on our PVC ranges, and a lifetime fitting guarantee for complete peace of mind.
Are plantation shutters blackout?
Not completely, but they significantly reduce the amount of light entering a room. For full blackout performance, our Blindscreen Blackout Add-On can achieve 100% light blockage.
Are plantation shutters energy efficient?
Absolutely. According to the BBSA (British Blind and Shutter Association), internal plantation shutters can reduce heat loss by up to 28%. When paired with our Blindscreen Blackout Add-On, this can increase to up to 40%.
Are plantation shutters easy to clean?
Yes. Shutters are simple to maintain — just use a microfibre cloth, a vacuum with a brush attachment, or a damp cloth for tougher marks (particularly on PVC shutters).
How long does it take to receive plantation shutters?
Our PVC shutters can be delivered and installed in as little as 4 weeks from the date of order. Wooden shutters typically take 12–14 weeks, depending on specifications and order volume.
How much do window shutters cost?
Prices vary based on style, material, and window size. On average, made-to-measure shutters range from £280 to £400 per square metre. We offer free consultations to provide accurate, no-obligation quotes tailored to your home.
Do you offer measuring and fitting?
Yes. We offer professional measuring and installation services across the UK to ensure a perfect fit. Our installers are our own in-house team members, trained and experienced, and all work is guaranteed for your peace of mind.
